Name: Kayna Leslay

Dragon: Terrorstain Ziffer (Male) AKA Hatcher
Family?:
Parents are deceased. Was killed by Dragons when Kayna was 6 which started her ambition to be a great Viking and kill Dragons.
Has an older brother named Harper Leslay. He's not head of the village by he's pretty dang close to it. He's known for killing the most Dragons and being one of the bravest Vikings on the village. He's searching for the Dragon that killed their parents so he can avenge their deaths. Kayna looks up to him as a rival rather than an older brother.

Douggar is a nerdy blacksmith around her age. They've been friends since 10 and he has a crush on her, unbeknown to Kayna. He's very small but tends to be a bit stronger than he looks because of all the heavy weapons he has to pick up and make. He secretly believes that Dragons shouldn't always be considered an enemy but doesn't speak because he knows he'll be thrown out.
Weapons?: She always carries her mother's Dagger in her boot. But can be seen most of the time with a special Axe Douggar made for her.
Personality:
Very stubborn and hard-headed. Refuses to give up. i.e. She's always wanted to be like her brother and be a great Viking and kill Dragons. But she tends to be very clumsy and just not as skilled which causes her brother to not put her in Dragon Training till she's 16; also because she wouldn't stop leaving him alone about it.
She had a very strong hatred towards Dragons her whole life since her parents death. She was intent on killing them and becoming better than her brother. However, her views soon change when a baby Dragon, later, Hatcher, is thrown upon her.
She strives to be better than everyone else, despite her weak skills. She doesn't just want to be like someone else, she wants to become better overall.
She thinks of Douggar as a very close friend, and not really as a relationship partner. (Which never stopped Douggar from continuing to like her and be there for her.)
Kayna has a fear of Lightning and Thunder. Which is hard because her Dragon produces an electric charge in his body that resembles lightning when he attacks.

Dragon
Name: Hatcher
Species: Terrorstain Ziffer
Species Life Span: 50-150 years.
Gender: Male
Appearance/Markings:
Two-headed. (Almost like the Hideous Zippleback)
Golden Yellow-Orange Colored with orange striped markings going down his back. He only has one tail that's very long (enough to wrap around his body twice once he's full grown.) He has large wings and a lean body that makes him very fast and agile. Rather than both heads producing something different for an attack, Hatcher actually uses an electric type of fire that comes from both heads.
Personality:
Was immediately attached to Kayna and loves to be around her. When he was a baby, he would try to follow her wherever she went despite her pleas not to because of the other villagers. However, Hatcher was very small and quick so he was never spotted.
Very protective and loyal to Kayna. He's especially protective of her because of her brother, knowing he is and will always be a Dragon killer. Hatcher is afraid he may try to hurt Kayna.
Hatcher also loves to mimic others. Whether it's Kayna or her brother or other Dragons. He's always finding new ways to make Kayna smile or laugh.

Story: Kayna was attacked by a large Dragon in the woods one day which caused her to run and fall and become unconscious. When she awoke, she found herself in a cave with a Dragons Egg in front of her. Afraid for the mother of the Egg, she tried to sneak out. However, the Egg hatched just as she was about to leave and a baby Ziffer hatched out and the first thing he saw was Kayna, which lead him to believe she was his mother. Hatcher was afraid of weapons, Axes in general, for awhile which was good for Kayna because she would use it to keep Hatcher away. However, he soon realized she wouldn't kill him (she tried and had failed) and he followed her to the village. She tried to rid of him but he became attached to her. This slowly caused a distraction to Kayna as she was training to kill Dragons to be better than her brother! She gives it up though and pursues to teach Hatcher how to fly and attack, also trying to better herself in her own way. She grew to love Hatcher and Dragons in general as well. She named Hatcher after the fact that he hatched from an Egg in front of her. She occasionally calls the left head "Hatch" and the right head "Hat" for nicknames or for when she's scolding them separately. Kayna and Hatcher are currently in search of the Dragon that killed her parents as well as discovering all the kinds of Dragons not known yet and visiting other Viking Isles.
